Neil Patrick Harris & David Burtka: While he may have played a womanizer on the hit show How I Met Your Mother, that show is in fact where Harris met his now husband Burtka. They’ve been together since 2004 and recently married in September of 2014. They have twins, one boy and one girl. Both make perfect Halloween picture props as these hands-on daddies dress in themed outfits to match their kids.
Ellen Degeneres and Portia de Rossi: America’s most known gay couple in daytime talk have been together since 2004. Despite the marriage equality fight in California with Prop 8, the two finally made it to the alter together on August 16, 2008. Although they’d obviously make the best mothers, the couple has no plans to have children any time soon.
Elton John & David Furnish: The Patriarch of the Gay Mafia has been feeling the love with Furnish, a filmmaker from Canada, since 1993. They’ve been together for over two decades and have seen their relationship go from dating, to civil partnership, and finally to marriage on December 21, 2014. They have two children together, with Mother Monster Lady Gaga being one of the godmothers.
Lance Bass & Michael Turchin: Although Turchin isn’t as famous as Bass, their wedding is very important. After entering into marital bliss on December 20, 2014, their ceremony was broadcasted on the E! network, a groundbreaking move for gay marriage equality. The two have been together since 2011.
Matt Bomer & Simon Hall: Hunky White Collar actor Bomer has been married to Hall since 2011, despite being known for playing mostly straight characters. Together with Hall, who is a publicist, Bomer has three children.
Melissa Etheridge & Linda Wallem: Despite having already been divorced, Melissa Etheridge seems to have found a happily ever after with her new wife Linda Wallem. The two started out as friends, but their relationship has grown into so much more. The rocker and Nurse Jackie creator, respectively, started dating in 2010 and tied the knot May 31, 2014.
Linda Perry & Sara Gilbert: The Four Non Blondes singer and songwriter (think ‘Beautiful’ by Christina Aguilera) and the Roseanne child star have been together since 2013. They have been married since March 30, 2014 and welcomed a son together February 28 of this year.
